Ok, the next party will be held at my place and we will have the whole place to our selves. My wife will be out of town and it is pretty much completely empty! So no more problems because there is not enough room! We expect to have a blast, and we are ready for 6 people, and at the moment have 4 to 5 dedicated so it should be a blast.
We will only be playing first person shooters so make sure you have all the games on the game list and we may have no internet access (tho I believe we should be able to get something worked out). There will be a local server will all needed patches, files, etc.
Have fun!

The last one went rather well but there where a few snags. As a result for lan parties after this we are going to post a list of games that will be played and ask that everyone either have a legal copy of the game with them or have a copy of the game already working on the system. This way we can keep game playing at a high and trying to fix problems at a min.

Yes!! This is true another holiday is coming up (Presidents Day the 19th of February) and we would like to get together on the Saturday of the holiday weekend (give us an extra day to get ready for school and work). We would like to do something simple and easy this time so we will just play some first person shooters for most of the day. However later we will try Neverwinter Nights again but we will just play the standard Neverwinter Nights game to see how that goes. Anyway, if your interested make sure you get on the list and lets go from there!

The lan party was pretty decent, we all had fun and almost everything was working. The only major problem was with the stupid ut2004 server and adding the bots (maybe I should have tested this). The stats system also had a major breakdown so I will see if I can’t fix this junk before the next party! Doug it was great having you a long and we hope you will come next time!

We are having a TGFO (Thank Goodness Finals are Over) lan party on the 16th of Dec and anyone who is visiting this site is welcome to come! Right now we will have a Half-Life 2 Death match, Day of Defeat Source, and Capture the flag mods for HL2 (along with a stats program that we will keep through all of the lan parties). We will also have a FEAR multi player server (I don’t have a stats program for that but we do have a free multi player installer that will be on the ftp server, and yes it is legal). And finally we can’t go on without UT2004 server with stats! If you have any other servers you would like or any other concerns please click on the get involved link and express them on the mailing list. If you object to the mailing list or have other concerns please email them to the mailing list and they will be addressed.
Cheers!

The last lan party went off well, until the stupid server crashed in the middle of saving the game and corrupted the only save we had (what only one save?). Next time we do a NWN lan party we will use another beautiful program called cron to back up that save file so we can keep about 30 copies (so that does not happen again). We will also look into exporting the char files to the server so we don’t have to worry about that either. Other then that it went really well and we all had fun!

Ok, we have a lan party setup for the 28th of October. I need to find out how many people are comming to plan tables/chairs. If you are comming, please go to the info tab and take a look at how you get involved. I have come to the conclusion that a email list is the best way to go abound finding out what everyone needs/wants and keeping people up to date. If you don’t like that then, I’m sorry.
